OurRegion is a concept developed by James Watts, Managing Director of InSPire Net Limited, a Palmerston North based ISP and the sponsor of OurRegion. 

The concept aims to provide an online ‘window’ to the region.  It’s for those of us who now use the web everyday, and perhaps don’t read the paper as much as we once used to.  It is also an opportunity for us all to contribute our news, ideas, experiences, art, opinions... It is an online communication tool to bring the community closer together – whether you live in Apiti, Himatangi Beach or Palmerston North.

It’s about each of us in the region learning more about our region, and knowing more about those who live here with us.  It is also a means for smaller community groups like schools and clubs to have a free online presence through the use of template websites.
